LARKANA
Larkana is a famous district of Sindh. These days it has become politically important.. It is located near the famous Mohenjodaro city which dates back to 1500 B.C. Between Mohenjodaro and Dokre there is a Rice Research Centre, amongst rich irrigated farmlands in Larkana. The people of Sindh have a proverb to the effect that if you are rich you should go to Larkana, where you can easily spend your money. At Chero near Larkana, we can find the inscribed panel of three couplets above the enterance of the tomb chamber of Shah Baharo Faqueer, a trusted Lieutenant of Mian Ghulam Shah Kalhora, ruler of Sindh in 1774 A.
